SPLC-CRS Best PhD Thesis Award

The thesis award consists of 600 € .

Information to be submitted:

PhD thesis and certificate supporting thesis defense between 1/10/2023 – 30/9/2025 (pdf format, max 10 MB) ;
CV (pdf format, max 10 MB);
3-min video pitch addressing the question: why should my thesis be awarded with the 2026 SPLC-CRS thesis prize? (mp4 format, max. 100 MB)

Submission deadline: October 31^st, 2025

Eligilibility:

Thesis defended between 1/10/2023 – 30/9/2025.
Winner should register and attend the conference.
Applicant must be a member of SPLC-CRS.

CRS Local Chapter Young Scientist Travel Grants to the 2026 CRS Annual Meeting
(Lisbon, July 6^th - July 9^th)

The CRS Local Chapter Young Scientist Travel Grants aims at promoting the connectivity between active CRS Local Chapters by providing travel grants awarded by the CRS and the SPLC to promising young scientists around the world to attend the CRS Annual Meetings.

First best oral and poster presentations

The first best oral and poster presentations will be awarded with a 1500€ travel grant for each one (member of SPLC-CRS), to participate in the 2026 CRS Annual Meeting (Lisbon, July 6^th – July 9^th) (to be eligible, SPLC-CRS membership is mandatory)

Second best oral and poster presentations

The second best oral and poster presentations will be awarded with a 1000€ travel grant for each one (member of SPLC-CRS), to participate in the 2026 CRS Annual Meeting (Lisbon, July 6^th – July 9^th) (to be eligible, SPLC-CRS membership is mandatory)

Third best oral and poster presentations

The third best oral and poster presentations will be awarded with a 500€ travel grant for each one (member of SPLC-CRS), to participate in the 2026 CRS Annual Meeting (Lisbon, July 6^th – July 9^th) (to be eligible, SPLC-CRS membership is mandatory)

SPLC-CRS Representative in the 2026 CRS Annual Meeting
(Lisbon, July 6^th - July 9^th)

Open call for SPLC-CRS PhD holders (PhD degree awarded after 31.12.2020) to be selected as our representative at the CRS Annual Meeting 2026 in Lisbon.

Eligible members can indicate this option in the following link. The winner will have the registration for the CRS Annual Meeting 2026 covered by the SPLC-CRS, in addition to the opportunity to present his/her work at our conference in Albacete.
